Snapp Bowls are Welded On!
There are some questions going around as to why the Snapp filter bowl isn't removable for servicing the cartridge. The simple answer is that threads on a bowl and in a housing use a lot of extra space and material in relation to the cartridge diameter and area. In a large housing the loss of element size doesn't impact the performance much. But in a housing the size of the Snapp, threads limit the filtration performance to just good enough. Instead, the Snapp housing is right-sized and optimized to provide the highest performance possible to protect small engines.
