Press Release: Racor Division Recognized as John Deere “Partner-level Supplier”

Modesto CA – The Racor Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control, has earned recognition as a Partner-level supplier for 2015 in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program. The Partner-level status is Deere & Company’s highest supplier rating. Parker Racor was selected for the honor in recognition of its dedication to providing products and service of outstanding quality as well as its commitment to continuous improvement. The recognition was accepted during formal ceremonies held on December 15th, 2015 at the Waterfront Convention Center in Bettendorf, Iowa.

Parker Racor is a supplier of innovative, patented engine filtration systems to several of John Deere’s engine and assembly plants worldwide. These filter systems include super-efficient fuel filtration modules, incorporating “smart” pumps which regulate the flow and pressure of fuel to the common rail injection system. They also include advanced lube oil filtration systems, air intake filters, and crankcase blow-by oil mist filters.
Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness. John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement.
